Who We Are
Williamson Choral Society brings passionate singers together to grow as artists, forge meaningful connections, and share the transformative joy of choral music with an ever-widening community.
About Us
The Williamson Choral Society, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, composed of auditioned, dedicated, and passionate singers from in and around Williamson County, Tennessee. We meet weekly from January through May and August through December. to practice our concert repertoire and share the joys of singing and performing.
Our concert selections range from traditional choral works to modern and brand new music to popular favorites. Each December, we celebrate the Christmas season with a joyous collection of old standards, beloved carols, and lesser-known gems.
Our Core Values
We have four primary goals, as delineated in our mission statement:
Engage Passions
We create a space where singers can explore and nurture their love of music as they grow as artists, and we share that joy with audiences who feel the energy in every performance.
Inspire Achievement
We challenge ourselves with meaningful repertoire, celebrate the joy of doing hard things well, and we invite our community to experience the beauty that comes from striving together.
Deepen Connections
We build friendships through shared time in rehearsals, shared purpose, and the shared experience of making music to create moments that help audiences feel connected to the music and to one another.
Broaden Community
We welcome singers and listeners alike, using our concerts and outreach to bring more people into the circle of choral music.
